Several of us enjoyed a glorious day riding at the Minnesota River Bottoms in Jordan this past Saturday. The fall colors, warm sunshine and stirring of the river took away the stress of the week. God continues to knit our hearts together through conversation and fellowship. We're going to squeeze another ride in on Sunday, Oct. 28, 2 p.m. at Lebanon Hills Park in Eagan.

Sharing Christ Behind the Chutes - Saturday, Nov. 3, 7 p.m.
Do ever wonder what rodeo contestants talk about behind the chutes before they ride? Have you been wanting an inside look at the life of rodeo contestants? For seven years, Dave Kes has answered God's call to share the Gospel with rodeo participants throughout Minnesota. He will be our special guest at a dessert social, telling us about his experience in this prime missionary field. Coffee will be provided. Bring a small dessert to share and something to drink if you don't want coffee.

Operation Christmas Child
Greg and Amy will be assembling shoeboxes to contribute to Operation Christmas Child. We welcome any contributions you'd like to make, whether it would be a shoebox, toothbrushes, or small toys to include in the boxes, or $7 for one of the boxes. Click here for more information and suggestions on what to put into the boxes: http://www.samaritanspurse.org/OCC.asp?MPGID=1. Bring whatever items you'd like to contribute to either the FMSC volunteer session or to Greg's house on Nov. 3. We'll do the work of assembling and wrapping, and getting them to the drop off locations.
As we head into winter, we'll have more NOOMA video discussions and social events. Stay tuned to the blog for updates!

Registration for equine units is taken up to and including the day of the event, though they would prefer advance registration/ notification in order to have enough food prepared. The registration form is at the bottom of this post.
Hope to see you there - we had a blast last year!
