U of M Winter Horse Owner Programs

The 2009 U of M Winter Horse Owner Programs are now open for registration.
Dates and locations are:

• Saturday, January 31 in St. Paul, MN (Equine Center)
• Saturday, February 21 in River Falls, WI (UW-River Falls Science Building)
• Saturday, and March 14 in Ottertail, MN (Thumper Pond Resort)

I attended one of these programs in November and found it extremely educational and a good use of my time. I recommend checking them out. Go to www.extension.umn.edu/horse for more details on the various topics being presented at each location.

Registration will close on the Wednesday before each program. Space is limited, and some locations (especially the St. Paul location) tend to full quickly. Secure online registration is available at www.extension.umn.edu/horse. A mail-in registration form is also available on the website. The website also has the specific agenda and map for each location.
